QCGC - Qld Concrete & General Construction Co. Pty. Ltd

In early January 2011 Queensland Concrete & General Construction (QCGC) underwent internal changes to the management team and I took over the role as General Manager. Cathryn Seaver, a consultant from Haycroft Workplace Solutions had been working with my predecessor and the Site Managers as Haycroft provides their Professional Employment Service to QCGC. Part of this service involves locating suitable workers for our water sewerage treatment plant contracts, at sites located in Morayfield, Kawana, Maroochydore, Nabour and Gympie. 

Around the same time QCGC had been appointed with Contracts at Moranbah and Innisfail water sewerage treatement plans and we met with Cathryn to determine our labouring requirements. With the assistance of Cathryn and others in the Haycroft team we finalised Employment Agreement documentation and put an ongoing plan in place for the workforce. 

We have been very pleased with how the process has been developed and maintained by the Haycroft team and we currently have 26 workers at our sites. Communication is frequent and response to emails and telephone calls is given high priority. I would recommend the Haycroft team to deliver a professional service in areas of Industrial Relations and Human Resources.
